Workshops
It is a tradition at Inisol to bring students and companies closer together each year, bridging the gap between the academic world and the business world. Every academic year, we invite several companies to host workshops at the VUB.
We organize three types of workshops:
Career development: Following our job and internship fair, we invite several companies to host workshops on topics such as CV writing, interview skills, career decision-making, salary negotiations, etc. These workshops take place around the time of the job and internship fair.
Special topics: In addition, we also invite companies to give workshops on specialized subjects. This could cover topics like investment banking, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), AI, etc. These workshops are held throughout the academic year.
Excel track: This year, we are also offering an Excel track. In a series of 4 to 5 workshops, you will dive deep into the world of spreadsheets. The goal is to prepare students from all fields at the VUB for using Excel in their internships and future jobs. These workshops will be held in the first half of the second semester.
After each workshop, we will host an informal reception where students and company representatives can further discuss. In short, a workshop can be the starting point of a successful career.
